I am sitting in my Mom's backyard, editing my blog! I found a great deal on a Linksys 802.11b wireless router and PCMCIA card. They are so hyped about their new 802.11g products, they are practically giving all their older stuff away. My laptop is cruising the 'net with no cables. This is the way my existence is sopposed to be. I've got my tunes, a beer, and my blog. Ahhh. Life just keeps getting better and better.

It is times like these when I wish that I lived in California, where I understand there are many unregulated hotspots wide open for a weary traveller to enjoy. Come to think of it, I don't have any security on this network yet-- I'd better make sure there are no guys in the bushes with their laptops right now!

UPDATE-- I caught two guys (one with a laptop, one with a PDA) in the bushes across the road. I decided to play nice, and so I'm only charging them $5/ hr. for access. Now I am a mini-ISP! ;)
